COVID-19: epidemiology, diagnosis and prophylaxis
On April 27–28, 2022, Congress with International Participation “Molecular Diagnostics and Biological Safety 2022” will be held.
The Congress was first launched in 2003.

These days molecular methods of diagnostics play a crucial role in ensuring biological safety in many fields of medicine and biology. Introduction of modern technologies of molecular diagnostics into practical healthcare increases the efficiency of diagnostic and preventive measures, improves epidemiological surveillance of infectious diseases, and facilitates sanitary and epidemiological well-being of the population.

In the light of today's realities affected by the novel coronavirus infection (COVID-19) pandemic, search for new methods of diagnostics and non-specific and specific methods of prevention as well as development of epidemiological surveillance will be the key topics of the upcoming Congress.
Leading national and foreign experts in molecular diagnostics, epidemiology, infectious diseases, representatives of scientific institutions and R&D establishments, heads, and staff of laboratory diagnostics departments of large clinics and other healthcare institutions of the Federal Service for Surveillance on Consumer Rights Protection and Human Wellbeing, the Russian Academy of Sciences, the Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation and other departments will participate in the Congress.
